How did you get here?
I was a peer advisor for Sociology, Economics, and Global Studies for three years. My passion for student services in higher education has not diminished. L&S advising office was a perfect transition for me going into the professional advising world after graduating from three L&S departments and working as a peer advisor for all three.
Most unusual job you ever had?
I worked as a Skate Guard at Oakland Ice Center in college. My favorite part of that job was patching up holes on the surface by scraping ice with my skates and fill the holes with a hockey puck!
What advice do you have for L&S students in general?
College can be extremely stressful, especially when you find yourself juggling academics, personal life, and so much more. Take a deep breath and one baby step at a time. Enjoy a day off if you need it, and do not feel guilty!
About Me:
I LOVE traveling! Our planet earth is so big and unique, I want to see as much of it with my own eyes. One of my ultimate life goals is to visit all 7 continents and 100 countries.
